Hi, there!
How are you doing?
I hope you got some lovely rest during the weekend.
Today, I want to mention the three most crucial astrological events of the week. They are:
The beginning of Pisces season
The arrival of Saturn at 20° of Pisces
The ending of Mars retrograde
After mentioning the characteristics of these events, I’ll offer some exercises intertwining them with the preparation for the Saturn return.
Let’s go.
The beginning of Pisces season
The Sun will travel through the last sign of the zodiac from Tuesday 18th at 05:07 until March 20th at 05:02 EST, when it moves to Aries and a new solar year starts.
How can you honor this season, you ask?
Here are five practical ideas:
Spending time submerged in water, ideally in the sea (a pool or bathtub also work)
Giving some love to your feet by massaging them or booking a reflexology session
Creating a music playlist that allows you to relax and connect with your intuitive side
Donating money to a cause you believe in so you can activate the generosity and abundance within
Crying and then taking a restorative nap to cleanse yourself
And here are some less practical, more Piscean-infused ideas:
Crafting a ritual for letting go and closing up the astrological year
Cutting your hair to renew the energy you are constantly carrying in your head
Writing down the dreams you have at night because they can bring you messages you can decode in the future
Engaging in a spiritual or holistic practice with a trusted professional, such as Reiki, an opening of your akashic records, a tarot reading, or whatever resonates with you right now
Practicing yin yoga to spend more time in the same asana and release stored energy or emotional blocks
Which one do you like the most?
I'll definitely book a reflexology session and cut my hair.
The arrival of Saturn at 20° of Pisces
Sunday the 23rd is an excellent day to start preparing for your Saturn return if you have Saturn in Aries.
Saturn arrives at 20 degrees of Pisces at 02:58 EST.
When Saturn is 10 degrees earlier than the zodiac sign of your natal Saturn, you can start preparing for your Saturn return.
But why now?
Because the transiting Saturn is in a wide conjunction with your natal Saturn in Aries. For this experiment, it doesn’t matter if you have Saturn in the last degrees of Aries.
If you want to know the astrological theory behind the preparation period, you can check this text from my blog: Essential Tips to Prepare for Your Saturn Return
The critical thing to remember is that you may start feeling Saturnian quite soon.
You may feel the need to spend more time by yourself, organize your finances, care for your health, or think about the long term.
All of these sensations are completely normal. I’ll help you navigate them little by little, week by week.
The ending of Mars retrograde
Mars turns direct at 17°00’ of Cancer on Sunday the 23rd at 21:00 EST.
FINALLY.
Mars retrograde periods are one of the most challenging transits in my experience. Life seems to move sooooo slowly is frustrating.
Plans become stagnant. Ideas don’t seem to take off. Hard work means nothing.
I have written extensively about this cosmic phase, so you can check this edition of the newsletter:
And also this one when I celebrated that half of the retrogradation was over:
The fact that Mars is direct doesn’t mean that this planet is moving full steam ahead.
However, slowly but surely, action will return, and the plans that were blocked will start advancing again.
For now, don’t do anything extreme. Give the red planet a few days to recover from the sluggishness.
Now that I have covered the details of the most noteworthy astrological events of the week, I’ll want to give you some exercises.
Prompts for Week 1
Grab your dedicated journal. Write [Week 1: Saturn in Aries] Commitment on top of the page, like this:
Choose one of the practical ideas to honor the Pisces season. Do it and write about the experience in the journal.
Choose one of the non-practical ideas to honor the Pisces season. Do it and write about it in the journal.
Write a note to show our commitment toward the process of the Saturn return. (If your Saturn return has already passed, you can adapt this text to something that resonates with the Saturn in Aries transit). Copy the following note in your journal and adapt the information written between brackets to your information:
My commitment to my Saturn return
I, [Your Name], welcome my Saturn return as a journey of growth, resilience, and self-discovery.
I commit to showing up for myself with honesty and courage and embracing challenges as opportunities to strengthen my foundation.
I will trust the lessons Saturn brings, knowing they are guiding me toward greater maturity and alignment.
This is my time to embody patience, responsibility, persistence, and accountability.
If, at some point, the path feels uncertain, I will take a deep breath and try to remain grounded using the tools I’m learning along the way.
I know I will make mistakes in this process, but my commitment implies forgiving myself and getting back on track as soon as possible.
I am ready.
In Saturn I trust,
[Your Name]
That’s it for this week.
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section! Your input is really helpful for me.
With love,
Valentina
