Hi, there!
How are you doing? How was your weekend?
On Friday the 7th, I had a dancing party with myself. I didn’t see that one coming, really.
I’m in Argentina right now, at my mom’s house, and the weather was scorching hot for almost a week.
The afternoons were hard. The sun was shining brightly, and I lacked the energy to do stuff.
But last Friday, after completing most of my pending tasks (see: prompt 4 from last week), I felt happy in my own body.
I felt I could trust myself. One of the best feelings EVER.
So I decided to keep going. But I needed energetic music to complete some tedious paperwork.
I opened Spotify and put Losing It by FISHER. It’s my go-to choice when I need something upbeat.
I started moving my torso while completing the paperwork. Then, the shuffle put World Hold On (Children of the Sky) - FISHER Rework.
I got up from my chair and danced like no one was watching because literally no one was watching. I closed my eyes, I jumped, I twerked, I moved my limbs in all directions.
Then came Music Sounds Better With You, another banger, so I danced a little more but already cooling myself. I sat back and finished the paperwork while my heart was beating fast.
I have read about these private dancing parties but thought they were a dumb idea. Not last Friday, though.
Music wanted to use my body as a vessel, and I allowed it to do so.
Too mystical? That’s the combined effect of Pisces season + Eclipse season + Venus retrograde + Mercury about to go retrograde.
And speaking of all of the planetary movements, let’s focus on the most relevant ones for this week:
On Friday the 14th, at 02:59 EST, there’s a Total Lunar Eclipse at 23°58’ of Virgo.
On Saturday the 15th, at 02:46 EST, Mercury starts retrograding at 09°35’ of Aries.
As you can see, cosmic events are concentrated during the weekend. The newsletter focuses on surrender, a practice that will help you manage the current energies.
Window between eclipses as an exercise in surrender
Two weeks ago, I wrote about the beginning of Eclipse season. It started with the New Moon in Pisces on the 27th of February.
Now, the first Eclipse of the season has arrived.
On Friday the 14th of March, at 02:59, there’s a Total Lunar Eclipse at 23°58’ of Virgo.
The first Eclipse of the season is lunar (signaling emotional endings) but occurs in the North Node (signaling the future, the energy we have to receive instead of reject). Endings that propel beginnings will happen in the Virgo house of your birth chart.
If your Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Descendant are in Virgo, this eclipse will be extra powerful for you. Check this text to find out more about it: Eclipse Season and the First Saturn Return
Most importantly, this lunation opens the 15-day window between eclipses.
This window is a very strange couple of weeks.
Time gets distorted. You may feel it goes by very fast or extremely slowly.
During this time, you feel more tired than usual, thirsty, and itchy in your own skin.
Sleep becomes irregular and erratic, with vivid and (sometimes) prophetic dreams plaguing your head.
You think about someone, and that person texts you out of the blue. You decide to read a book, and then three people mention the same book to you in different contexts.
Surprises and confusion abound. You have dark thoughts but feel hopeful and optimistic about the future at the same time.
Trying to exercise some sort of control now leads you nowhere. It’s just an exercise in futility. This is why you can practice surrender during the 15-day window between eclipses.
Avoid pushing for a specific outcome because magic is happening behind the scenes, and you don’t have all the facts just now.
Psychedelia of the 15 days between eclipses
Between one eclipse and the other, there’s an escalation of these experiences:
Synchronicities
Prophetic dreams
Unexpected news
Surge of inspiration to create
Revelations about your talents
Being in touch with your true desires
Quantum leaps in thinking and feeling
Deeper connection with the arts or spiritual practices
But not everything is dreamy and mystic. Other experiences are also heightened, and they are:
Tiredness
Extreme thirst
Mental fog
Erratic sleep patterns
Misunderstandings
Verbal fights
Feeling uncomfortable in your skin
Visits from undesired memories of the past
The changes you need to catapult in your life will manifest during the 15 days between eclipses.
But you may feel scared or uncertain about executing them because they are not crystal clear.
They are whispers from the wind instead of shouts coming from a cosmic megaphone.
No problem with that. Eclipse season is not the best moment to act.
Sometimes, change is imposed on you. But if you can launch something and choose the timeline, wait for this chaotic energy to settle down.
This is especially true this season since the window between eclipses coincides with Mercury retrograde in Aries.

Mercury retrograde in Aries adds gasoline to the weirdness
Venus started its retrogradation in Aries at the beginning of March. On Saturday the 15th, Mercury joins her. The messenger will start retrograding at 09°35’ of Aries.
The Aries house of your birth chart will get extra busy in 2025. Venus and Mercury retrogradations are just two of many transits that will occur in this area.

Mercury is the planet that retrogrades most frequently but not the one that spends the most time in retrograde motion. That’s Pluto. While Mercury spends 20 % of its cycle retrograde, that number jumps to 44 % for Pluto.
Mercury retrograde periods have now entered pop culture in a fear-mongering fashion. Every time this planet changes gears, social media accounts and internet outlets proliferate with alarmist content.
You’ll lose your keys! You’ll experience delays when you travel! You’ll need to back up your electronic information! Your ex may reappear, but they haven’t really changed!
Even though some of these manifestations are factual, there’s more to Mercury retrograde than confusion and snafus.
Especially when Mercury retrogrades in a fire sign.
Mercury retrograde in Fire
Usually, before Mercury retrogrades in Fire, you feel bored and sense that you need more excitement in your life.
I know I do. Life has felt dull lately.
The retrogradation is an opportunity to reconnect with our need for play, creativity, and spontaneity.
Creativity is more than painting, music, literature, and the other arts. Creativity is a lifestyle. How you respond to crises and problems in life shows your creative skills.
Mercury retrograde in Fire signs will test your ability to respond to life with spontaneous energy. It will propel you to be more creative with your decisions for change. In 2025, Mercury will retrograde in the three Fire signs of the zodiac.
On a practical level, you may become aware of your sedentary habits. Movement is recommended during this period.
Keep the energy flowing in your body and your mind, and try not to stress about the outside world's messiness.
Prompts for Week 4
Write [Week 4: Saturn in Aries] Surrender on top of the page, and the week we’re in, just like in the last edition.
This is the last week of Pisces season and not the best time of the year to overexert yourself. So, go back to the Week 1 prompts and focus on some of the self-care strategies I shared. I’ll continue writing my dreams and doing yin yoga at home, thanks to the Yogi in Melbourne YouTube channel.
Now, re-read the Week 3 prompts, precisely prompt number 4. Is there a pending task you can complete this week? Focus on an easy one.
In your dedicated journal, write a list of “Activities I enjoyed as a kid.” Did you play sports? Did you enjoy dressing up and performing in front of the mirror? Did you act as a veterinarian with your stuffed animals? Did you enjoy writing plays and making all your friends act in them? Did you write on a chalkboard and pretend you were a teacher? Whatever you did and enjoyed doing, write it down. Don’t do anything with that list. Just write it.
Go to the website FutureMe. Choose April 26, 2027, as the date to receive the letter. And then, write all the things you want to achieve, accomplish, or simply experience in these two years. Allow yourself to be corny, over-the-top, delusional, whatever. This is for your eyes only. Focus on the best-case scenario. Send the letter and forget about it.
That’s it for now.
Make sure you drink plenty of water and get restorative rest.
And, as usual, let me know your thoughts in the comments!
With love,
Valentina

It’s not too late to start preparing for your Saturn return if you have Saturn in Aries in your birth chart.
To do so, you can read the latest editions of the newsletter in this order:
